Accepting the Truth

All praise and thanks belong to Allah.  I testify and bear witness that nothing has the right to worshipped in truth except Allah, alone without any partners.  I also testify and bear witness that Muhammad is the servant and Messenger of Allah; may the salutations and blessing of Allah be upon him, his family and companions.  To proceed:

O brothers & sisters, from those things which we need to hear and speak about is the subject of “Accepting the Truth and venerating it.”

Know- may Allah safeguard and protect you- that the da’wah of Ahlis Sunnah is established upon the truth, researching it, studying it, submitting oneself to and being pleased with it, calling to it while being patient upon that which occurs during its way, and opposing that which contradicts it.  It is incumbent upon us that we become like this.  Shaikhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahuAllah) said,

“The truth centers around and is based upon the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) and that which he was upon as well as that which the companions (radi Allahu ‘anhum) where upon and not other than them.”

This statement of Shaikhul Islaam (rahimahuAllah) is a great principle from the principles that we must have concern for, tread upon, seek it, call to and defend it.

Thus, whoever wants to be with and upon the truth must look to where the Messenger of Allah (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) was (with regards to all issues).  If he/she is called to something (before acting on it) they must (first) search for the proof which came from the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam).  (They must ask themselves), is this thing that I’m being called to from the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam)?  (By acting upon this) am I going to be in the same rank that the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) is in?  Am I going to be in the same direction as the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam)?  This is (important) because if you are in a different direction from the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) this constitutes enmity, opposition, fighting against and turning away from the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam); especially if an individual intentionally chooses to be in a different direction from the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam).

So whoever wants to worship Allah with a complete, perfect and comprehensive servitude must thus be upon that which the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) was upon, not desiring anything else.  They must also research and seek out that which the Salaf were upon.  This is because you have those who come with false and erroneous interpretations; falsely claiming that such and such was meant, the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) was like this, this is really like that (and so on).  So look to that which the Salaf As Saalih were upon.   This is because they were saved from innovations and misguidance.  They were firmly reared and established upon the truth, accepting it, acting in accordance to it, treading upon its way, calling to it, exerting themselves in its path and sparing no effort due to the truth.

So if an individual says, “Allah says this and the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) says that, which really means this,” ask him, “where are the Sahaabah”?  Were they involved in that which you are involved in?

No doubt such a thing cannot take place without legislative knowledge.  Subsequently, the one who wants to know that which the Messenger (sallAllaahu alaihi wa sallam) and the Salaf were upon, will be in dire need of knowledge.  Thus, if you don’t have knowledge, return to the one who has it (and seek it from him) until you are granted the success of treading upon this great way.

Therefore,  glorifying the truth and returning to it is the characteristic of everyone who is sincere, pure in intent, covetous of the truth, truly desiring it; thus placing it before oneself, wealth, close relatives, loved one, and even the most affluent men of his and of previous times.

So accept the truth, whether it is for or against you; use it to rule over yourself, your money, status and every well-trodden aspect of this life.  However, with great regret, a great multitude has been prevented from treading upon this path.  I don’t mean the people of innovation and misguidance for this is clearly their case because they have intentionally left the truth.  (Surprisingly), some of the people of the Sunnah after the time of the Salaf, have fallen short in this regard which consequently (prevented them from) reaching the same level that the Salaf were upon.  Even with this, they are still from the people of the Sunnah.  However, (we, the people of the Sunnah) are incited to strive hard and to place the truth first, to the full extent of our capability and as much as we are able to.

Solution to Calamities, Struggling Economy, and Global Warming

Solution to Calamities, Struggling Economy, and Global Warming:
(Enter Islam and Leave off Polytheism)

The Creator of the heavens and the earth created mankind and jinn for no other reason than to single Him out with all worship. The Creator, Who named Himself Allaah (which means The True Deity worthy of worship) in His final revelation (Qur`an), says (what means):

And I (Allaah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).” (Adh-Dhariyat 51:56)

This is in truth Monotheism, which is beyond the mere belief that there is only one Lord. The antithesis of monotheism is polytheism, which is generally giving the right that only Allaah deserves to other than Him.

Specifically, polytheism is ascribing partners to Allaah by worshipping (calling upon, invoking, relying on, praying to, seeking blessings from...) others alongside Allaah, or attributing to Allaah that which He denies for Himself (such as children, equals or partners), or denying for Allaah that which He attributes to Himself, or denying any of His verses, or denying any of His Messengers (including the seal of them, Muhammad).

Polytheism is the single worst act of disobedience, and disobedience is the main reason for calamities. Allaah says (what means):

“(What is the matter with you?) When a single disaster smites you, although you smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, you say: "From where does this come to us?" Say (to them), "It is from yourselves (because of your evil deeds)." And Allaah has power over all things.” (Aali Imran 3:165)
And

“Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allaah, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself. And We have sent you (O Muhammad) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allaah is Sufficient as a Witness.” (An-Nisa 4:79)

And

“That is because of what your hands have sent forth, and verily, Allaah is not unjust to (His) slaves.” (Al-Hajj 22:10)

Allaah is angry with polytheism and that which causes corruption upon the earth after its reform, as Allaah states (what means):

And do not do mischief on the earth, after it has been set in order, and invoke Him with fear and hope; surely, Allaah's Mercy is (ever) near unto the good- doers.” (Al-A'raf 7:56)

And from the following verses, we see that Allaah is The One who grants blessings and does not remove the blessings unless people become disobedient.  Allaah states (what means):

Allaah will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves (by committing sins and by being ungrateful and disobedient to Allaah). But when Allaah wills a people's punishment, there can be no turning back of it, and they will find besides Him no protector.” (ar-Ra'd 13:11)

And also read:

And how many a town (population) have We destroyed, which were thankless for its means of livelihood (disobeyed Allaah, and His Messengers, by doing evil deeds and crimes)!” (Al-Qasas 28:58)

Has not the story of the Ark of Noah reached you? Do you know the reason for the wrath of Allaah, Who caused the earth to be drowned until the water became higher than the mountains in what is renowned as The Great Flood during the time of Noah? What was the reason Allaah destroyed powerful nations such as 'Ad and Thamud? What was the reason Allaah destroyed the land of Sodom and turned it upside down, so that it is known today as The Dead Sea and remains a sign for those who fear a painful torment? Do you know which sin the people of all these aforementioned nations committed and that which was the underlined cause of the corruption of their societies?

The answer is Polytheism, directing worship to other than The Creator of the heavens and the earth, by calling on other than Allaah, relying on other than Allaah, praying to other than Allaah, sacrificing for other than Allaah, revering other than Allaah, hoping in other than Allaah, seeking blessings from other than Allaah, taking oaths by other than Allaah, bowing to other than Allaah.

So, the major cause of corruption and problems upon the earth is Polytheism, directing worship to other than Allaah, and that which leads to it.

Any president, king, leader or ruler who is sincerely interested in improving the overall condition of his country should begin with removing Polytheism, and know - may Allaah guide you - that the only religion free of polytheism is Islam.

Islam means to submit to Allaah upon monotheism and upon obedience to Him, while freeing oneself from Polytheism and its people.

Islam is the religion all the Prophets were sent with, the only religion The Creator sent down, and the only religion He will accept on the Day of Judgment. Allaah states (what means):

“He (Allaah) has ordained for you the same religion (Islam) which He ordained for Nuh (Noah), and that which We have inspired in you (O Muhammad), and that which We ordained for Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus) saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically), and make no divisions in it (religion) (i.e. various sects in religion).” (Ash-Shura 42:13)

And
“Truly, the religion with Allaah is Islam...” (Aali Imran 3:19)

And

“And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” (Aali Imran 3:85)

If, for example, you want to improve the economy, then remove polytheism and that which leads to it since when monotheism (the opposite of polytheism) is established in the heart of an individual and completed, then that individual's acts of disobedience decrease.

If for example, you worry about "Global Warming" or pollution, then read the following verse:

Evil (sins and disobedience of Allaah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allaah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allaah, and begging His Pardon).” (Ar-Rum 30:41)

Evil has appeared means the shortfall in the crops and fruits because of sins. Scholar Abu Al-'Aliyah said,

"Whoever disobeys Allaah in the earth has corrupted it, because the good condition of the earth and the heavens depends on obedience to Allaah."

Hence the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings Allaah of be upon him and all the Prophets) says in the hadeeth which was recorded by Abu Dawud:

Any prescribed punishment which is carried out in the land is better for its people than if it were to rain for forty days.”

The reason for that is that, if the prescribed punishments are carried out, this will deter the people - most or many of them - from violating the prohibitions of Allaah. If they give up sin, this will be a cause of blessings in the skies and on the earth. So, when Jesus, son of Mary (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and all the Prophets), comes down at the end of time, he will judge according to the Law of Islam at that time. Allaah will destroy the Dajjal (the Ant-Christ) and his followers by the hands of Jesus, son of Mary (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and all the Prophets), and then destroy Ya'juj and Ma'juj (Gog and Magog) during his time. Then, it will be said to the earth:

"Bring forth your blessing."

Then groups of people will eat from one pomegranate, and will seek shade beneath its skin, and the milk of one pregnant camel will be sufficient for a group of people. This will only be because of the blessings that will result from the application of the Law of Islam sent down to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and all the Prophets). The more justice is established, the more the blessings and good things will increase.

In Saudia Arabia, polytheism is rightfully a crime in accordance with what Allaah revealed in all His revelations, including the Qur`an - His last revelation. Thusly, the country is blessed by Allaah with a flourishing economy, no epidemics, rare cases of drugs, alcohol, adultery, theft, terrorism, and the like.

And keep in mind that Saudia Arabia is a desert with no fruit-growing trees, yet Allaah provides them with all kinds of foods and drinks from all over the world, just as He says:

“Have We not established for them a secure sanctuary (Makkah), to which are brought fruits of all kinds, a provision from Ourselves, but most of them know not.” (Al-Qasas 28:57)

This clearly shows Allaah's compassion, kindness, mercy and blessing, in that there are no fruit-producing trees in the Sacred City of Makkah, yet all kinds of fruits are being brought to it from all around; this is how Allaah accepted the supplication of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him and all the Prophets), who supplicated to Allaah:

“And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols. ...O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in an uncultivable valley by Your Sacred House (the Ka'bah at Makkah); in order, O our Lord, that they may perform As-Salat (prayers), so fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and (Oh Allaah) provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks.” (Ibrahim 14:37)

Do You Worship The Creator?

In the Name of ALLAH the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

Do You Worship
The Creator ?

Have you heard of the story of Noah’s ark? Of course, everyone has heard the story of the great flood; but do you know the sin of Noah’s people which caused the wrath of The Creator to come upon the Earth?  In fact Noah’s people were guilty of committing the gravest of sins.

Who is the Creator?

Most people would agree that this vast magnificent universe did not happen by chance.  Rather most believe that it was created, perfected and arranged by SOMEONE who is All Wise, and All Knowing.  The Muslims and The Arab Christians refer to Him by the name of ALLAH, which when translated into the English Language simply means,

THE GOD.”

ALLAH says, In Chapter 7 of the Qu`ran verse 54, what can be translated as,

“Indeed your Lord is ALLAH, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He rose over the Throne. He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, (all) subjected to His Command.  Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment.  Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the Worlds and all that exists!

ALLAH alone is The Creator of the Universe, The Owner of the Universe, The One who arranges all of the affairs of the Universe.  He alone is the Lord of the Universe and everything which is in it.

 WILL YOU NOT AGREE…..?

What is the right of The Creator over His creation ?

Now that we have agreed that The Creator is One, and that He alone has the ability to bring about benefit, or to prevent harm, and that He alone is the one who fashions man in the womb, and He is the only provider for all of the creation.  Then we must agree that He alone deserves to be worshipped.

 WOULDN’T YOU AGREE…?

ALLAH says in Chapter 2 verses 21, and 22 of the Qu`ran

“O mankind!  Worship your Lord (ALLAH), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may become pious.  Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you.  Then do not set up rivals unto ALLAH (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be worshipped).”

What is The Greatest Sin?

The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him was asked, “What is the greatest sin?”  He said,

“That you make rivals or partners with ALLAH, while He alone created you.”

Worship is a term which includes supplication, prayer, sacrifice and vowing and it is the exclusive right of the Creator alone.  It is not permissible to direct any act of worship towards the created things such as Angels, Prophets (i.e. Jesus, Moses, Muhammad etc.), saints, cows, idols, trees, the sun, the moon, the devil, or anything else from that which was created.

ALLAH says in Chapter 7 verse 191

Do they attribute as partners to Allah those who created nothing, but they themselves are created?”

ALLAH says in Chapter 22 verse 73

“O mankind! A similitude has been coined, so listen to it (carefully):
Verily! Those on whom you call besides Allah, cannot create (even) a fly, even though they combine together for the purpose.  And if the fly snatched away a thing from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly.  So weak are (both) the seeker and the sought.”

Creation worship or polytheism was the sin of Noah’s people.  They began to  worship the righteous people who had passed away, this was done as a means of getting closer to The Creator.

Who is more deserving of our Worship The Creator or His Creation?

Now, we know that the greatest sin is to worship other with ALLAH; when ALLAH alone is the One Who created and sent Messengers to convey the message, “That none has the right to be worshiped in truth except ALLAH.”  He is the ONE Who created the Messengers, and their behavior as examples for all of mankind to follow.  It must be understood that it would be an obvious contradiction for any Messenger of GOD to allow others, including themselves to be worshipped, when ALLAH alone is The Creator Who created them (and everything else).

WILL YOU NOT AGREE…..?

ALLAH says in Chapter 72 verse 18,

“And the places of worship are for ALLAH alone, so do not call upon anyone other than Him.”

How do I know if I’m worshipping Allah, or Not?

ALLAH, is not part of a trinity.  He does not resemble His creation in any aspect.  ALLAH is not a man, spirit, or an Angel. ALLAH  is the sole creator of the entire universe and nothing is  similar to Him.

ALLAH says in Chapter 112

“Say: He is ALLAH the One.  The Self Sufficient Master, whom all creatures need (He neither eats nor drink), He begets not nor was He begotten.  And there is none co-equal or comparable to Him.”

ALLAH says, in Chapter 2 verse 255

“ALLAH! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists.  Neither slumber, nor sleep overtakes Him.  To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth.  Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission?  He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter.  And they will never encompass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills.  His footstool extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them.  And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”

ALLAH says in Chapter 39 verse 67,

“They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to Him.  And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand.  Glorified is He, and high is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!”
